Ethnic Groups

Four species- Vulpinan, Wend, Murid, and Gnome- have an ethnic group indigenous to Fuclon, with all using the Fucgente demonym.

Waldgente (Vulpinan) [waldgente]: Originating from the forests of Fuclon, this Vulpinan ethnic group has soft, dense fur in various shades of brown and orange, with white or grey on the chest, face, tail tip, and abdomen, and black on the hands, feet, and back of the ears. The skin on their palms, soles, nose, and inner ear is a light pink to light brown complexion. Their irises are generally in shades of brown, green, or gold. The average adult Waldgente stands at 1.8 metres tall (5 feet 10 inches) and weighs 70 kilograms (154 pounds), with very little difference between the sexes. Like most Vulpinan ethnic groups, their pregnancies will result in two or three cubs. Their name means Forest People in Fuclang.

Flussgente (Wend) [flusːgente]: Originating from the rivers and lakes of Fuclon, this Wend ethnic group has dense, waterproof fur in various shades of brown, with white or grey on the chest and abdomen, and their long whiskers are white. The skin on their webbed hands and feet, nose, and inner ear is a light to dark brown complexion. Their irises are generally in shades of brown or gold, but blue and green are not uncommon. The average adult Flussgente stands at 1.8 metres tall (5 feet 10 inches) and weighs 70 kilograms (154 pounds), with very little difference between the sexes. Like most Wend ethnic groups, their pregnancies will result in two to four cubs. Their name means River People in Fuclang.

Kalmigente (Murid) [kalmigente]: Originating from the grasslands of Fuclon, this Murid ethnic group has thick soft fur in shades of yellow to light brown, with white on the chest and abdomen. Their feet, hands, and tail are hairless, and the skin has a light pink to light brown complexion, along with the nose and ears. Their irises are generally in shades of brown or gold, but green is not uncommon. They are an incredibly short Murid ethnic group, with the average adult Kalmigente stands at 1.2 metres tall (3 feet 11 inches) and weighs 40 kilograms (88 pounds). Like most Murid ethnic groups, their pregnancies will result in five to eight pups. Their name means Grass People in Fuclang.

Sougente (Gnome) [soʊ̯gente]: Originating from the caverns and underground tunnels of Fuclon, this Gnome ethnic group has thick dense fur in various shades of brown, black, white, or grey. The skin on their hands, feet, and nose are a light to dark brown complexion. Their irises are generally in shades of brown or black, and like most Gnomes, more than 70 percent of the population are blind. The claws on their hands are feet have a light cream colouration. There are no differences between the sexes, and the average adult Sougente stands at 1.5 metres tall (4 feet 11 inches) and weighs 50 kilograms (110 pounds). Like most Gnome ethnic groups, their pregnancies will result in two to four pups. Their name means Cave People in Fuclang.
